Dr. Dawn Magrath grew up in Somerset, rural England. She graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2002 and moved to Manitoba immediately after graduation. Dawn began her career in rural mixed animal practice, which allowed her to build skills with many species, as well as narrow down some fields of higher interest. After moving to Alberta in 2005, Dawn pursued a mixed, but predominantly small animal practice; which suited her love for surgery and urgent care. Dawn has a particular interest in providing individual patient care and keeping close communication with owners at all times. She has an open door policy for owners, with any possible concerns at any time. Dawn and her husband Nick enjoy the comedy scene in Calgary, where Nick also performs from time to time.
